WELCOME TO FORTY ACRES BREWING
Forty Acres Brewing is an Australian enterprise founded by husband and wife team Trev and Jo Mitchell. Based in Central Vic, and passionate about all things beer, the couple decided to take the plunge into making their own beer in commercial quantities after one too many dinner parties of encouragement from friends near and far.
Having lived abroad for the better part of the past decade, Trev and Jo have perservered their way through all manner of "malt beverages" served appropriately and inappropriately and depending on the location of consumption were known to stop by fish/wet markets to procure ice, just to ensure they could palate the local ale.
Forty Acres sincerely hopes you enjoy our beer, and will always find it palatable in venues near and far.

In addition to beer, WE DO NOT OFFER WEDDINGS, but we also have very simple style accomodation on Forty Acres for people to holiday in to get away from the hustle and bustle.
We must stress at this time Forty Acres does not brew on premises so this accomodation is simply a quaint, cheap bush retreat.
Forty Acres is located in Sandon, Central Victoria.
The local area has loads of sites to visit, and dates back to the late 1800s with amazing history into the goldrush days.
On our property we have this old charcoal burner from the war days, and the turn off into House Lane has a Roman Catholic Church that was consecrated in the 1860's and still has services once a month.
